LR115 Systems Engineer III

Systems Engineer III, Cloud Computing Technologies Agile Development Labor Rate ensures the implementation, troubleshooting, deployments, and maintenance of technology-based systems. Designs, builds, and manages organization infrastructure components and systems in a multi-tiered framework. Works with other members of the engineering team to plan and implement systems automation as required for better reliability, security, performance, and efficiency. Facilitates the roles of the incidence management and intelligence by working closely with security response teams during security incidence and involving in site security audits. May have 11 or more years of experience in this field, with at least one year of satisfactory full-time professional experience in an IT or enterprise systems engineering environment in one or a combination of the following: cybersecurity, computer science, information systems, computer systems engineering, information security, engineering, information technology, and any other specialized area related to systems engineering. Demonstrates high-level of proficiency and knowledge in troubleshooting and solving problems through the use of programming/scripting technologies such as Python, PowerShell, Linux shell/BASH, Perl, and/or Ruby. Have a strong technical background of automation through management platforms including SCCM, Chef, Puppet, and/or Ansible. Proficient in working with computer operating systems such as Windows and Linux, and have vast experience to build, implement, and manage servers and applications in a cloud-hosted environment like Microsoft Azure, Amazon AWS, and/or Google Cloud Platform. Familiars with virtualization platforms such as Microsoft Hyper V, Nutanix AHV, KVM, and VMWare ESX. Team-up with senior and other principal systems engineers within the organization to control, monitor, and maintain multi-vendor cloud infrastructures and troubleshoot complex network problems related to hybrid application and databases, as well as to assist with design systems and solutions, leveraging leading industry practices. Have experience and knowledge of working in an environment with regulatory standards such as SOX, PCI, FFIEC, HIPAA, ISO, and other industry laws and regulations. Possesses relevant security certifications such as Security+ CE, GSEC, SSCP, CCNA-Security, CISA, CISSP, CASP+ CE, GCIH, GCED, CCNP Security, CySA+, and/or GICSP. Reports to the Senior Systems Engineer.
