Work with the team to implement the design, manufacture, and support of technical electronic systems for the aviation industry. Involved in the program management and the engineering of various avionics software. Responsible for the provision of computer system support for all form of communication, guidance, and navigation systems. Perform tests and retests on every developed system to ensure that they are working at the proper level of efficiency. May have a degree in computer science, software engineering, aerospace engineering, electronics/computer software engineering, or other closely related courses; with 2-5 years of experience in this field. Boast of Complete training and certification from the Federal Aviation Administration. Possess a proficient ability to adequately develop, analyze, and test software codes. Proficient in developing applications software with various programming languages, most importantly C, C++, C#, and Java. Experienced in developing Software in Linux or Redhawk environment. Experienced in troubleshooting various computing platform issues and abnormalities involved with computer hardware and software such as Driver and Firmware. Conversant with an agile software development environment and methodologies. Report coding errors and seek ways that they can be resolved. Conversant with the methods that various application models and simulations can be developed and deployed. Work with the team under the supervision of the Senior Avionics Software Engineer.
