Quantum Computing Architect II, Cloud Computing Technologies Agile Development Labor Rate designs quantum computer software models for quantum computers such as quantum turing machine, quantum circuit model, adiabatic quantum computer, and quantum cellular automation that use superposition and entanglement to perform computation that includes both arithmetic and non-arithmetic steps. Design, operate, configure and perform maintenance on quantum networking and Quantum computer systems — including hardware, software, web portals, internet, and intranet connections, firewalls, servers, and security systems — that allow company infrastructures to function efficiently and securely. Consider the resources, size, data needs, desired user experience, and budget of the organization to determine its computing needs. Quantum Computing Architect II is tasked with the overall design and maintenance of an Information technology system such as the hardware and software systems used to create, access, and maintain an electronic health record in the medical field. Design, create, and monitor the implementation of end-to-end integrated systems. Troubleshoot new and existing system designs and make suggestions for improving quantum systems. Negotiate with and manage vendors and consultants to ensure smooth flow of quality materials used in implementing quantum computer architectures. Quantum Computing Architect II may have a Bachelor of Science Degree or higher-level degree in Mathematics, Computer Engineering, Quantum computing, Computer science, Quantum Programming Languages (such as Q#, QISKit, and so on) and quantum computing open source projects (such as Quantum Playground, Forge, LIQUI, Quantum, Collective Artificial Intelligence, Quiskit Tutorials, Openfermion, and so on), or any other related field. Have proven experience of analyzing and finding solutions to system problems. Develop quantum software systems that with great scalability, stability, and security. Identify system data, system software, or software components required to meet user needs. Collaborate with quantum software developers or software engineers to select appropriate design solutions and ensure the compatibility of system components. Experienced in researching and designing new gates for quantum computing applications. Have experience in developing both hardware and software tools, with 6 to 10 years of working experience in a related field. Report to the Senior Quantum Computing Architect.
