LR004 Senior Security Operator

Senior Security Operator, Cloud Computing Technologies Small Business Labor Rate, coordinates the activities of the IT security operation team and the crisis response center on behalf of the organization. Monitor, evaluate, disseminate, and coordinate organizational response to global security crisis information. Ensure the design, development, and implementation of adequate mechanism for securing and disseminating detailed, timely, and accurate global and institutional intelligence information. Team-up with other relevant departments of the organization in setting-up adequate facilities and systems that can mitigate data, information, and physical security incidents. May have Bachelor’s degree from any accredited college or university in a relevant course of study or an equivalent combination of education and experience. May have 11 or more years of experience in this field, with one year of satisfactory full-time professional experience in a command department or intelligence environment in one or a combination of the following: Department of Homeland Security, emergency management, fire or police services, public safety services, public health services, public administration, urban planning, engineering, military service or any other specialized area that relates to public or private command center operations. Have vast experience in Python, SQL, Java, C++, ethical hacking, Web tracking, security system penetration testing, Cloud Computing Technologies, and all major Computer Operating Systems. Possess excellent and professional collaborative, communicative, creative, and innovative skills. Coordinate security system training that is relevant to global and local security operations. Monitor and identify incidents that are relevant to business operations efficiency and have potential to impact operational security. Possess the ability to navigate incident and social media monitoring and mass notification platforms such as LiveSafe, Travel Locator Portal, Google mapping, NC4, Dataminr, LifeRaft and other crisis-alerting open source intelligence tools. Ensure adequate protection of organizational personnel and their information. Able to perform excellently under stress and ambiguous circumstances. Highly responsive, vigilant, and proactive. Pay adequate attention to details and possess strong organizational and multitasking skills. Proficient in computer operating systems, web applications, security systems, and open source intelligence/threat research platforms. Coordinate the activities of Security Operator I, II, and III and report to the Security Management Director.
