DevSecOps Terraform Engineer I, Cloud Computing Technologies Agile Development Labor Rate creates and secures software deployment, identifies security threats, and configures network infrastructure by utilizing the latest automation technologies. Ensures the implementation of threat intelligence and risk assessment techniques within the internal and external environments of the organization. This may involve building custom tools in order to include security in DevOps and keeping up with the latest security best practices, trends, automation, networking, maintenance tooling, and standards on environment security. Understands end-to-end processes related to internal development to ensure effective streamlining of CI/CD pipelines and to respond quickly and efficiently to major incidents and minimize service disruption during emergency. May have 2-5 years of experience in this field, with at least one year of satisfactory full-time professional experience in an IT or security operations environment in one or a combination of the following: cybersecurity, computer science, information security, engineering, information technology, and any other specialized area related to the information security field. Expertise in utilizing Linux, Virtualization, and Public Cloud such as AWS, Azure, and/or GCP, with a strong technical background in cloud networking, storage, and security. Proficient in relevant computer scripting/programming languages such as Python and/or Bash and compiled languages such as C, Go, and/or Java. Demonstrates high level of experience in developing automation and utilizing open source tools such as Terraform, Ansible, Chef, Github, and/or Jenkins. Develops a positive ‘’can do’’ attitude in handling challenging problems and ability to work with other all skill levels within the organization. Have strong technical knowledge related to monitoring and building dashboards such as Grafana, Kibana, and/or Prometheus, in addition to excellent problem solving and analytical skills. Develops a cordial relationship with teammates, management, and Senior DevSecOps Security Architect in order to ensure a positive experience and suitable atmosphere in both the internal and external environments of the organization. Provides honest feedback to leadership about how to best achieve the DevSecOps goals and work under the guidance of the Senior DevSecOps Terraform Engineer.
