Security Operator II, Cloud Computing Technologies Small Business Labor Rate, under adequate supervision, is responsible for protecting organizational property and personnel against theft, vandalism, terrorism, and other security threats. Work with other members of the security team to maintain and enforce law and order within organizational environment. Conduct and evaluate both internal and external threat investigations through corporate risk assessments. Balances the roles of the incidence manager and intelligence by sourcing for data and information from different sources, analyzing them, and disseminating and escalating them to the appropriate quarters in accordance to organizational protocols. May have 6-10 years of experience in the field, with at least a year of satisfactory full-time professional experience in a command department or intelligence environment in one or a combination of the following: Department of Homeland Security, emergency management, fire or police services, public safety services, public health services, public administration, urban planning, engineering, military service or any other specialized area that relates to public or private command center operations. Have adequate knowledge of incident command system (ICS) and security emergencies and crisis management policies. May be experienced in intelligence analysis, military or police operations, emergency response or worked in an established security operation center. Possess the ability to maintain a high level of confidentiality and sensitivity and able to adapt to changes in both internal and external organizational environment. May be proficient in programming languages such as Python, C++, JavaScript, and relational database programming languages such as SQL. Analytic, dedicated, and inquisitive about the security of the organization and organizational property and personnel. Work with other departments in the organization to ensure safe and secure business processes and operations. Performs physical security access control functions across the organization and its business units in accordance with established policies and procedures. Assists with security operations across the entire organizational spectrum as needed. Work with and reports to the Senior Security Operator.
