LR075 Machine Learning Engineer III

Machine Learning Engineer III, Cloud Computing Technologies Agile Development Labor Rate designs, builds and maintains large-scale machine learning data pipelines. Develops analyze test plans and strategies to meet performance, usability, scalability, reliability and security needs using engineering best practices. Lead and collaborate with agile team members on achieving Sprint deliverables. Modify existing Spark batch jobs in Airflow. Create real-time data consumer apps. Create a highly-scalable and highly-available Machine Learning inference service. Monitor deployments and real-time system health metrics, available for on-call emergency incident. Consistently ensures that business is conducted with integrity at all times and that behavior aligns with iCIMS’ policies, procedures, and core competencies. Design, implement, test and sustain automated data analysis and classification systems using big data analysis and machine learning techniques. Use machine learning and statistical modeling techniques to develop and evaluate algorithms to improve performance, quality, data management and accuracy. Work alongside scientists, designers and research engineers to provide analytic insight into Dyson’s research challenges and support to operational issues. Collaborate with research engineers to recommend improvements to data collection and experimental strategy to optimize system performance. Application of statistical methods to establish confidence in findings. Perform investigatory analysis of large multivariate datasets, suggesting novel techniques for data collection during future experiments and field trials. Identify opportunities to apply machine learning techniques to extract meaning and derive value. Characterize classifier or algorithm performance against defined project objectives; proposed implementation environment; and associated computational constraints. Bachelor of Science degree in Computer Science, Mathematics, Statistics or related field; with 9+ working experience in equivalent field. Required skills includes Advanced proficiency with at least one of AI/ML concepts such as: Classification, Recommendation, Ranking, Text Recognition, Translation. Expert in test design, test creation, test execution and defect analysis/root cause investigation. Ability to influence, lead and organize projects across multiple agile teams with a focus on results. Strong technologist who can anticipate issues/opportunities and build solutions.
