Work with the Cyber Security team and other groups of space engineers to protect and secure various spaceflight systems. Protect space software products against malicious attacks such as spyware, viruses, Trojan horses, and ransomware through coding. Implement, evaluate, and support security-focused tools and services in space security functions such as system testing, propulsion crew, and life support. Develop and interpret security policies and procedures for effective space software protection. May have 9 or more years performing space software security deployments and managing security tools such as Endpoint Security/Endpoint Detection and Response, Host Intrusion Prevention, Cloud Access Security Broker, Identity Management Solutions, and Data Loss Prevention. Show familiarity with various host network and cloud-based security technologies, including the maintenance and life-cycle of technology. May have applicable Security Certifications – CISSP, GIAC Certifications, CISM, CISA, and Security+.
