May have 6-10+ years of experience in this field, with at least two years of satisfactory full-time professional experience in a quantum computing environment in one or a combination of the following: International Business Machines Cooperation, Intel, Cambridge Quantum Computing, Microsoft Quantum computing, Google research, Department of Homeland Security, engineering, military service or any other specialized areas. Must have experimental experience with design, fab and test of qubits, theory experience of the design of qubits and design of quantum protocols. Research experience in building quantum algorithms and quantum circuits. Proficient in relevant Computer operating Systems such as Windows, Linux, and Unix. Have experience in computer programming languages and database languages such as Python, Java and C++. Knowledge of SQL and databases management. Able to think quickly and solve problems. Work in a collaborative environment with researchers from different scientific disciplines. Able to obtain and maintain a security clearance. Excellent organizational skills and able to prioritize responsibilities according to importance. Coach and mentor other Quantum scientist. Experience working with Quantum computing platforms and simulators. Collect and analyze data to take appropriate corrective actions.
