Security Governance Engineer III, Cloud Computing Technologies Agile Development Labor Rate is responsible for designing system configuration; directing system installation; and defining, documenting, and enforcing system standards to establish a secure networking environment. Develops, installs, configures, and supports security implementation of tools and services that suits the security operation of the organization. Designs, develops, engineers, and implements solutions to meet the organization’s security requirements and needs. May have 11 or more years of experience in this field, with at least one year of satisfactory full-time professional experience in an IT or security operations environment in one or a combination of the following: department of cybersecurity, computer science, computer software, information security, engineering, information technology & services, and any other specialized area related to security governance field. Have adequate experience of at least one relevant scripting or programming languages such as PowerShell, Python, C++ and relational database systems like MySQL, SQL, and PSQL. Demonstrates proficiency in working on Linux, Unix, and/or Windows operating systems, as well as cloud platforms. Showcases in-depth understanding and knowledge working with a variety of security tools including CheckMarx, Burp, SD Elements, and other important security tools. Have vast experience with secure network and systems architecture, design and implementation, intrusion detection, defense and incident response, security configuration management, access controls design and implementation and security policy and standards development. Possesses special thinking ability to look across the organization and across technologies to align ownership, analyze potential impacts to processes and systems, and drive efficiency in accordance to the organization’s protocols. Establishes and maintains a cordial relationship with all the units across the organization including the security management team, departmental supervisors, clients, and organizational personnel in order to ensure security controls. Possesses certification in Cybersecurity like the CISSP, the GIAC, the SSCP, the GCIA, the GCIH, the CASP, and other relevant security certifications. Works hand-in-hand with other security governance engineers within the organization and reports to the Senior Security Governance Engineer I on a timely basis.
