Quantum Computing Architect III, Cloud Computing Technologies Agile Development Labor Rate is responsible for designing and implementing short and long-term strategic goals for managing and maintaining quantum computing systems and quantum algorithm architectures. Develop and integrate quantum algorithms and quantum applications. Communicate with clients or staff to understand specific system requirements and develop the needed quantum micro-architecture. Design quantum system architectures that align with organizational objectives. Provide expertise and architectural assistance to other IT personnel, including software development teams, system analysts, and quantum computing engineers. Collaborate with other researchers and use academic publications in staying abreast of new technologies relating to quantum system development and ensure cost-effectiveness in quantum technology production projects. Test and review quantum algorithms and ensure proper functioning of quantum computer systems. Verify stability, scalability, interoperability, and security of quantum system architecture. Collaborate with software developers or engineers to select appropriate design solutions and ensure the compatibility of system components. Monitor quantum system operation to detect potential problems and perform systems management and integration functions. Identify system hardware, or software components required to meet user needs. Quantum Computing Architect III may have a Master’s or Ph.D. degree in Mathematics, Quantum Computing, Computer Engineering, Quantum Engineering, Computer science, or any other related field. Have experience developing both hardware and software tools for quantum computing and may have 11 or more years of working experience in a related field. Proficient in using quantum programming languages and technologies such as Q#, LIQUI, QISKit, Forest, Qiskit Terra, Cirq, Pyquirl, Quitip, ProjectQ, and so on. Report to the Senior Quantum Computing Architect.
