Cloud Computing Technologies AI (CCT AI) is seeking Cloud Data Engineers with Databricks and Python expertise to support the development of secure, scalable cloud data platforms across Department of Defense and Navy mission environments. Our engineers build and maintain the data pipelines and analytics infrastructure that power artificial intelligence, operational intelligence, and mission-critical decision support systems.

This role focuses on engineering modern cloud-native data platforms using Databricks, Python, and cloud technologies to support real-world defense missions. You will contribute to systems that process, transform, and operationalize data used across mission analytics and AI applications.

This opportunity is ideal for engineers who have supported Navy, NIWC, or Federal data platform programs and want to work with advanced cloud data engineering and Databricks lakehouse architectures.

Responsibilities as a Cloud Data Engineer

  • Design and develop cloud-native data pipelines using Databricks and Python
  • Build and optimize ETL and ELT workflows supporting mission analytics
  • Engineer scalable lakehouse and data platform architectures
  • Integrate data from multiple mission and operational systems
  • Support machine learning and analytics workloads
  • Deploy and maintain data pipelines in cloud environments
  • Optimize data platform performance and reliability
  • Collaborate with data scientists and mission stakeholders
  • Support deployment within secure DoD environments
  • Develop automation supporting data engineering operations
  • Ensure data quality, integrity, and availability
  • Document engineering processes and system architecture

Qualifications and Requirements

  • Active DoD Cleared
  • Experience supporting Department of Defense, Navy, or Federal programs
  • Strong Python programming experience
  • Hands-on experience with Databricks
  • Experience building data pipelines and ETL processes
  • Experience with cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or Oracle Cloud
  • Experience with SQL and data processing
  • Experience supporting production systems
  • Understanding of data engineering best practices
  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field (or equivalent experience)
