We are actively seeking Cloud Data Engineers with strong Databricks and Python expertise who understand the realities of working inside classified, controlled, and mission-sensitive environments. We are building a long-term pipeline of cleared cloud data engineers for multiple current and upcoming Federal programs.

Responsibilities as a Cloud Data Engineer

  • Design, develop, and optimize scalable data pipelines using Python and Databricks
  • Engineer robust ETL and ELT processes supporting mission analytics and operational reporting
  • Build and maintain data lakehouse architectures in secure cloud environments
  • Support ingestion and transformation of structured and unstructured mission data
  • Develop automated data workflows supporting machine learning and analytics initiatives
  • Integrate data from multiple mission systems, sensors, and operational platforms
  • Ensure data integrity, reliability, and performance across production environments
  • Support deployment and sustainment of data pipelines in classified or controlled networks
  • Collaborate with data scientists, analysts, and mission stakeholders
  • Optimize data platforms for performance, scalability, and mission readiness
  • Support cloud migration and modernization initiatives
  • Develop documentation supporting long-term maintainability of mission systems

Qualifications and Requirements

  • Active DoD Cleared
  • Experience supporting Department of Defense, Intelligence Community, or Federal programs
  • Strong Python programming experience
  • Hands-on experience with Databricks
  • Experience building ETL or ELT pipelines
  • Experience with cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or Oracle Cloud
  • Experience with SQL and relational databases
  • Experience working with large-scale datasets
  • Experience supporting secure or classified environments
  • Understanding of data pipeline optimization and performance tuning
  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Data Science, or related field (or equivalent experience)
