Cloud Computing Technologies AI (CCT AI) is seeking a Principal AI Engineer to support Missile Defense Agency (MDA), Air Force Research Laboratory (AFRL), and Department of Defense artificial intelligence programs. Our engineers develop and deploy advanced AI systems supporting missile defense, sensor analytics, predictive intelligence, and operational mission capabilities.

This role focuses on leading the design and deployment of enterprise-scale artificial intelligence and machine learning systems supporting mission-critical national defense environments.

This opportunity is ideal for senior AI engineers and technical leaders supporting MDA, AFRL, Army, or Federal AI mission programs.

Responsibilities as a Principal AI Engineer

  • Lead development of artificial intelligence and machine learning mission systems
  • Architect enterprise AI and machine learning platforms
  • Support missile defense and mission intelligence systems
  • Deploy AI systems into production mission environments
  • Provide technical leadership and architecture guidance
  • Support AI platform engineering and modernization
  • Collaborate with mission stakeholders and engineering leadership
  • Support deployment in secure DoD environments
  • Lead development of scalable AI pipelines
  • Support cloud-based AI platform integration
  • Mentor engineering teams
  • Document system architecture and engineering processes

Qualifications and Requirements

  • Active DoD Cleared
  • Experience supporting MDA, AFRL, or DoD programs
  • Strong Python and AI engineering experience
  • Experience developing and deploying AI and machine learning systems
  • Experience supporting production mission environments
  • Experience with cloud platforms such as AWS or Azure
  • Experience leading engineering teams
  • Experience supporting mission-critical systems
  • Strong system architecture experience
  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience
