Cloud Computing Technologies
Do you like the idea of a challenging workday, one that has you working across multiple platforms and workflows? Do you enjoy working in a collaborative environment, as opposed to just coding at your desk?
Does the idea of improving internal systems and developing solutions to improve and augment the work of developers excite you?
If your response to any of those questions was a resounding yes! Then we’ve got just the opportunity you’ve been looking for.
Cloud Computing Technologies is currently looking for a Senior AWS Certified DevOps Engineer. As a Senior DevOps Engineer, you’ll be working to improve existing internal systems and make sure that the development process is as smooth as it can be. But before we get into specifics about the opportunity, here’s a bit about us.
About the Company
Cloud Computing Technologies is a cloud solutions provider that’s been working with cloud-based technologies for just about as long as they’ve been around. We’ve handled tasks at every level, from systems architecture design, development, and deployment, to large scale migration, integration, and upscaling projects, as well as robust and dynamic solutions design. We’ve been around for a while, and handled a great variety of tasks, is what we’re saying, and now we’re looking to add to our team with a mind to face the future head-on!
If you drop by any one of our offices in Arizona, Massachusetts, California, Colorado, or Washington D.C., you’ll likely witness a small team of dedicated professionals buzzing about the place, working, talking, or just planning out their days.
What you won’t see is a bunch of people sitting amidst grey walls at their desks bored out of their minds – we’re not about that life. We want to empower tomorrow’s leading professionals, and we wouldn’t be able to do that if we clung to the idea of a classical office environment.
We’re all about flexibility within the workspace, and that flexibility isn’t limited to just the choice to work from home or the office. We believe that the office should be a place that welcomes you, and in doing so, brings out the best of your latent creative and innovative talents. It’s a place you enjoy being at, and a place that helps you be the best you can be.
Every day brings its own challenges and its own rewards. Sometimes people come in, and sometimes they stay at home. Our one constant is the positivity we try to maintain around the workplace environment, even when that environment extends to your home workspace.
Now that we’ve told you who we are, what we do, and how we do it, let’s get to what we’ll need from you. To start off:
General Requirements
- Product and Product support experience.
- Ability to read, interpret, and communicate complex technical information and guidelines.
- Proficiency in mainstream programming languages is a bonus, but you should at the very least be able to read and interpret code from a forensic and error analysis standpoint.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills; ability to communicate ideas in an effective, concise and articulate manner.
- Experience with ITIL processes, ticketing software, and debugging distributed software.
The Specifics
- Experience with Amazon Redshift (certification is a bonus!)
- Experience with setting and achieving long-term service improvement goals.
- Ability to work as a team or technical lead.
- Ability to manage multiple workflows on the go.

- Experience deploying and maintaining AWS ecosystem-based services and products.
- Familiarity with multiple cloud communications technologies including VPC, Transit Gateway, Peering, IAM, Security Group, EC2, S3, AWS API Gateway, Athena, AWS Route 53, and Glue.

- End-to-end knowledge of SDLC Automation, along with the ability to effectively manage automation-oriented tasks.
- Knowledge of cloud security essentials, including Identity and Access Management and Cloud infrastructure security.
- Hands-on experience in loading data, running complex queries, performance tuning.
