DevSecOps Consultant III, Cloud Computing Technologies Agile Development Labor Rate offers software/systems security expertise to organizations by managing and rendering solutions for identified security flaws and breaches within the organization’s development platform. Swiftly accommodate clientele feedback by adjusting team priorities to fit any arising problem. Works with other members of the DevSecOps team to enhance data protection processes and operation, security compliance monitoring, systems infrastructure and application vulnerability management. May have 11 or more years of experience in software or systems security consultancy and at least one year minimum of professional experience in an Information Technology security operations environment. May possess a degree in cybersecurity, computer engineering, computer science, mathematics, etc.; and/or have an equivalent systems/applications security certification offered by Microsoft, CompTIA, Cisco, or Certified Ethical Hacker. Proficient in writing in some of these languages: Python, PHP, Java, Perl, Ruby, Powershell, etc. Possess strong technical background in network protocols such as DNS, DHCP, SMTP, and/or HTTP; and an excellent understanding of cloud provided environments such as Amazon Web Services (AWS), Azure, GCP, etc. Experienced using technologies such as Malware Sandbox, Perimeter Email and Network security products, Crowdstrike Falcon, Remedy, MSFT suite, Sentinel, IDS, IPS, CI/CD/CT pipelines, and so on. Knowledgeable about patching and troubleshooting various systems including Firewalls, Linux servers, Configuration Management Tools, etc. have strong understanding of Linux, Unix, Windows operating systems and can develop Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and keep system documentation as needed. Offers correlation and trending of cyber incident activity. Logical, productive, and able to express, verbally or in written form, security concepts to all audiences, spanning from technical sponsors (internal and external) to administrative authority. Works under the guidance and supervision of the Senior DevSecOps Consultant.
