LR026 DevSecOps Terraform Engineer II

DevSecOps Terraform Engineer II, Cloud Computing Technologies Agile Development Labor Rate is responsible for designing, improving, and securing software deployment, spotting security threats and the configuration of network infrastructure within an organization. Operates with other members of the security unit to design and deliver automated network infrastructure using Terraform Enterprise. Participates in defining and developing best practices for AWS cloud infrastructure development and usage, and acts as a key player in automating advanced build processes and scripting deployment. Introduces and assesses new automation management and testing tools that will help to achieve desired DevSecOps results. May have 6-10 years of experience in the field, with a minimum of one year of satisfactory full-time professional experience in an IT or security operations environment in one or a combination of the following: cybersecurity, computer science, information security, engineering, information technology, and any other specialized area related to information security field. Demonstrates strong technical background in utilizing Terraform for provisioning infrastructure and using the Serverless Framework for packaging and deploying Lambda functions to AWS. Have strong communication and presentation skills, as well as the ability to explain technical details with clear terms to a range of stakeholders of the organization. May be experienced with formal version control tools such as Git, Bitbucket, GitHub, and/or Gitlab, and proficient in utilizing Linux, server automation and scripting/programming languages such as Python. Have some knowledge of network protocols such as HTTP, DNS, and FTP. Assists with creating, building, deploying, and managing containers and orchestration in development and production environments. Have relevant security certifications offered by Microsoft, CompTIA, Cisco or Certified Ethical Hacker (CEH), and in-depth knowledge in security, automation tools, and programming languages. Works with other offices in the organization to implement threat intelligence and risk assessment techniques in accordance with established policies and procedures. Reports to the Senior DevSecOps Terraform Engineer.
