DevSecOps Security Architect I, Cloud Computing Technologies Agile Development Labor Rate, under adequate supervision, ensures effective management and avoidance of technical and human security related risks by analyzing, developing, and recommending improvement of software security infrastructures and standards. Ensures direct and regular engagement with product/software development and infrastructure teams to achieve security compliance and security requirements within the organization. Identifies and corrects data security issues and takes appropriate actions in a multiple computing platform environment. This may involve delivering and promoting secure coding techniques, assessing vulnerabilities, providing remediation guidance, designing multiple security technologies such as cloud security, secure network design, multiple-level security applications, and ensuring compliance with PCI-DSS, HITRUST, NIST, SOX, SOC and other related requirements of regulation. Design and organize DevOps security to provide assistance for IT teams in distributing secure software infrastructure solutions by providing security suggestions and stating security requirements. Provides security guidance on infrastructural designs and organizes numerous risk assessments to identify and eliminate application/product threats. Drive, outline, and map out digital architecture procedures for designing large scale DevSecOps pipelines such as Continuous Integration or Continuous Delivery (CI/CD). Take part in the deployment or implementation of new security tools to increase security awareness among employees. Required to be able to exchange comprehensive information with effectiveness while dispatching security needs and confirming that the necessary security measures are in place. May have 2-5 years of experience within the field of DevSecOps engineering, with at least one year of practical experience in related fields such as software security development, software security architecture, cybersecurity, software programming, and so on. May have a Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Computer engineering, relational database development, data analytics, or any other related specialized disciplines. Proficient in multiple scripting languages such as Python, PHP, Java, Perl, Ruby, JavaScript, CGI, SQL, and so on.
