DevSecOps Leader I, Cloud Computing Technologies Agile Development Labor Rate leads the agile security team to ensure security decisions are well implemented in line with the operation and development of all applications. Provide hands-on service by continuously integrating software that is capable of stopping any lapse that may occur in the workflow between security and information technology (IT). Ensure there is security developed for every application and that the development of software from beginning to end is accompanied by adequate security. May have a Bachelor of Science degree or a higher-level degree in Computer Science, Mathematics or any related technical field. Have at least 5 years’ experience managing a team and 2 – 5 years’ experience as a DevSecOps leader. Possess and exhibit leadership qualities and the ability to manage people comfortably. Have a good grasp of what development, security, and operations are about and may sometimes be needed to conduct training sessions for upcoming individuals, as well as members of other departments in the organization. Proficient in Microsoft Office packages such as Microsoft Word, PowerPoint, Access, Excel, and Outlook. Able to oversee the provision of adequate security for classified and unclassified systems. Possess a valid current TS/SCI clearance. Have a solid background in programming and comfortable using programming languages such as Java, Python, HTML, C++, and so on. Ready to work in the long-term while delivering value to the organization. Conversant with all the government regulatory measures on data protection and software development. Work with the software development team to eliminate security problems that may arise from designing and developing software products. Innovative and up-to-date with the latest developments that may influence duties. Report to the Senior DevSecOps Leader.
